Dowitchers (North Vancouver Island) (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

These two are two separate dowitchers (so not necessarily the same species). Both I'm having a bit of trouble with. I had tentatively IDed the first one as a short-billed, but now having some doubts.

These were both seen on North Vancouver Island, up near Port Hardy.

Any thoughts?

Agree #1 is Short-billed but I would call #2 a Long-billed based on white scapular fringes and ventral salmon color extending to undertail coverts.
