Dunlin? Paris, France, 25 Sept (1 Viewer)

I saw this very small wader with a long bill. It looks dunlin-like to me but was hoping to confirm with the experts. Including one un-cropped photo for size comparison.

Hello,

Yes you are right it's a Dunlin for me too.

Most similar bird is a Curlew Sandpier (a vagrant in the US, but regular as a migrant in France). It has an even longer bill and a more distinct supercilium,your bird has only a faint one.
