Hello,

I was wondering if someone could identify this bird?

Thank you in advance!

Two things: next time please warn that the bird looks dead. and Secondly, where in the world?

I am sure this isnt helpfull, but I had a look at this picture, hoping that I can ID it: but, for me its not an european (Westpalearctic) bird, I cant find a (close) match.
Any chance for getting the size of this bird? Impression for me: size of a small Trush/Starling.
Its not a european species of Trush with that spiky, slightly downcurved bill.

For me it's largish warbler size. Is the presence to the right of another banded dead bird laid out the same way, significant in respect of either the bird being in a collection or the OP having a dubious approach to birding?

I can't recall a Warbler with such a bill pattern?

Yes to me also it looks like a museum specimen and I agree with Alexander that it doesn´t seem to be something European; I think to solve this we need more information where this skin is stored, and a few other shots of the bird from below and above
