Golden Eagle ageing Portugal (1 Viewer)

Can someone age this eagle for me please, I'm thinking 1st year but not sure.

Indeed! 2nd winter (2 cy) judging by upperwing as Ken says and moult in inner hand/outer arm.

I expect you have Simon, it was in the Sao Marcos area on 18th Nov, also seen in the area 2 SIE in the air at the same time, one 1st yr the other I'm not sure of its age.

Just for your info c.60 BBS in stoney, ploughed field at top of brow between Rolao and Viseus.
