Good news on Snowy Owls (1 Viewer)

I posted this info in bird and Birding and realized it should have gone here.
The Churchill Northern Studies Centre is releasing 5 (yes 5) Snowy Owls rehabilitated at the Owl Foundation in Ontario. I don't know why they are coming to Manitoba but that's okay it's a perfect area for them.
This was done about 4 years ago in the middle of bird season and the birds had a hard time getting off because the photographers were standing in their sightline. After much persuasion the birds finally flew off. (I hope they all missed the perfect shot) this year is a little earlier and there shouldn't be so many photogs.
This release will take place Thursday May 18 at about 1215 pm Manitoba time.
Good luck to these good birds.
