Hi all, I'm currently annotating bird calls and songs from an olive grove in Madrid province, Spain. This recording is from December of 2020.
All recordings were made automatically from a passive audio device, both species are common in the area.
I was wondering if anyone is aware of any way to discern Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs) calls from Great tits (Parus major), or if the mimicry of Great tits is too good for our human ears to pick-up on.
