At a pond in a residential area of Milton Keynes yesterday. A friend I was birding with reckoned this might be a Yellow-Legged candidate, but I'm less sure. You can't really tell from the photo as its quite overexposed, but the back colour was definitely a shade darker than any of the herring gulls present, but nothing like as dark as any of the LBBGs present.
