I do most of my birding in Lothian (with the odd twitch to Fife)

You think you've got it bad? at least you've got a coastline! (but then again I'm only one county away from Norfolk!)

As you probably know already, there are plenty of your fellow countrymen present here, so maybe they will be able to "tip you the wink" on finding your own rarities locally!

Actually i 'm an Englishman moved North of the Border but don't tell any of those nice Scots!

I've also disciovered that as well as not finding rare birds i can't spell rarities either!

or discovered! Sorry, you'll have to get used to that here I'm afraid
It's all friendly though.
