Hello everyone! So I just found a bird from my company that flew in our maintenance shop and needed some serious r&r from all this heat. Heat was pumping fast, flipping trying to walk, and nobody wanted to help so I took it upon myself to save the lil one. I’m not sure what kind of bird it is but I’d love to get a professionals opinion and what I should do.

- Qualities: light and dark brown feathers, black webbed feet, sharp beak, slight white stripes along the eyes and head, had a small duck tail. This is the best I can do other than what I already named. Again please help to figure which bird this is.

Hi Valkerion and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators. It's always difficult to identify birds from just a description, if you could get a picture of it it would help enormously. Meanwhile we have some general guidelines here for the care of injured and baby birds.

It would also help if we knew what part of the States the bird was found and what the habitat is like round about.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.

I just posted them on my gallery, just saved the lil guy and I want to help. I love birds, beautiful creatures. The temperature here is hot, humid, about 87*F today I believe. I work at a Steel Forge in California.
