Hello (1 Viewer)

Good morning...
After dipping in and out of Birdforum for several years I've decided to take the plunge. Although my intentions are completely honorable I can't say they're entirely personal. As a producer at the BBC Natural History Unit I appreciate how valuable the knowledge of our enthusiastic birding community is. Without passionate amateurs and hard-working scientists it would be impossible to film many of the wildlife programmes we make. I'm hoping that amongst the users we might find someone willing to assist us with a very particular request.... I'll be posting later on in the garden bird feeding forum in the hope that some Birdforum members might be able to help with filming squirrel visitors to gardens (a controversial subject I know) and also in tracking down some more unusual, 'intelligent' behaviour from our world's birds.
Thank you for creating such a wonderful resource and community. I look forward to being a more active part of it.

Hi Simon,

A warm welcome to BirdForum from all the Moderators and Admin. Glad to have you on board :t:
