Help with ID of a Japanese Passerin (1 Viewer)

not a great shot, but the only one, Is this a Emberiza Personata or Spodocephala, the Maller stripe leans towards to firs.
taken on 23.3.23 in the Japanese Alps

I've not seen Black-faced (spodocephala) and only Masked (personata) on one occasion but it looks like the latter to me.

Looks good for male ad. Masked Bunting, I would think.
But as Pete, I don't have experience with Black-faced, and only a few Masked.

Straightforward Masked Bunting. Personata and Spodocephala males are really different. Spodocephala in the Japan Alps would be absolutely astonishing.
