help with identification of this bird of prey (1 Viewer)

Hello everbody.

I need help in identifying this bird. It looks like some kind of eagle. The picture was taken at a farm house outside the city of lahore, Pakistan.

Hi,

difficult angle... gape is too long, I think, for a kite. I would; the bill appear a bit thin for an eagle, but I don"t know asian bird at all...

I agree on Black Kite. The head does look quite eagle-like, but the tail gives it away for me.

Looks like young black kite, because of the dark ear-coverts, but i am not familiar with
Asian birds so not 100%

When I first looked at your original picture, I thought Black Kite. These new pictures are a Black Kite. If it's the same as your first pic, then..... BK

Same tail feather missing and head colours indicate it is most likely the same bird.
