Newbie birdy here, from south Birmingham - Moseley. Started enjoying the birds in my garden during lockdown. Now I’ve got some binoculars and have started learning the bird calls! Nice to meet you all!

On a weekend away in Cannock Chase this weekend, so will look out for anything interesting and see if there is a Cannock Chase thread to report back in ☺️

We spotted at Cannock Chase:

Chaffinch

Chiff chaff

Cuckoo

Great White Throat

Green finches

Song thrush / Mistle thrush

Red body red face (not sure what kind of bird this was?)

Swallows! In the trees and flying low over the fields at Shugborough Hall.
