how many different gulls might i see at Le mont saint michel and what is the one attached. thanks

Hi oldjojo and a warm welcome from me too. I long ago gave up trying to do gulls, but I think this one, with yellow legs and a black back is a Lesser Black-backed Gull. But wait for the experts on gull ID to arrive LOL.

As suggested above, it's a Lesser Black-backed Gull.
As for how many gull species, I'm not familiar with the site, but five or six wouldn't be impossible.

According to our Opus article: Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel - BirdForum Opus the main species of gull to be seen are Black-headed Gull, Common Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Herring Gull and Great Black Backed Gull. Though other, scarcer birds may pop in.
