House Wren question (1 Viewer)

Hello,

We have a house wren that has made a nest in my son's lacrosse backpack on our deck. I haven't gone near it, however I noticed that one of her eggs is laying outside the nest but still inside the backpack. It's almost like she dropped it of moved it out of the nest. Is this common?
