Still not correct. This is really quite hard; so I'll give you one clue, they are both very rare vagrant waders to Europe and the UK. ;)
 
Number one is incorrect, but number two is spot on, very well done nickderry! That happens to be a cropped picture of the Great Sand Plover I saw that turned up just outside Aberdeen this time last year. ;) Who would like to see if they can identify the first bird?
 
Its nice to see an American have a gamble; thank you Amurfalcon. I'm afraid that is wrong though; this wader isn't from your neck of the woods. o:)
 
Still none of you are correct, but you are getting gradually closer. This bird has had VERY few records in the UK, but has been seen here on just a few occasions in the past, but shriklebirders conclusion was an intelligent one.
