We are thinking of visiting Croatia the first week of June. Will we still see plenty of birds? Also suggestions of best places to visit at this time would be great.
Not a Croat but as someone living and birding around Croatia I can say June albeit being hot is still good for birds, especially if you want to see Adriatic sea birds like Yelkouan and Scopoli's Shearwater, Shag, Audubin's Gull, Eleonora's Falcon and so on. The "Best places" suggestion really depends on your targets and time, I would give a chance to Split and the surrounding islands (Brac and Vis especially)
