Kite from Bulgaria (1 Viewer)

Hello! Could you help with this kite? I am thinking juv. M. migrans but also looking for some other opinions.
Seen on August 10th 2022, South Bulgaria

Isn't it too early in the year for a Red Kite to be in south Bulgaria? They don't (now) seem to breed anywhere near there (EBBA2).

They usually start visiting the country from the beginning of August

looks fine for BK to me which is presumably the far more likely species
