This moth was found on my table outside by the moth trap last night. It was 32mm in length and was quite 'stocky'. It was very stroppy and would not keep still for a photo hence the quality is not too good.
It was brown with the bottom of the wings being lighter(more bronze) and it had black vertical dashes on the wings. When it opened its wings there were silvery underwings.
I looked through my books and can't see anythong resembling it.
