SITUATION VACANT
The Federation for Hunting & Conservation – Malta (FKNK) would like to recruit a
Permanent Secretary/CEO
in accordance with the provisions of its Statute.
The selected candidate will be:
Education and Qualifications: In possession of a minimum of a 1st Degree Qualification; Wildlife Conservation qualified; Communications certified; NATURA 2000 Network experienced.
Work Responsibilitiesand Conditions: Prepared to work flexible hours as necessary, including on Sundays and Public Holidays; Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative; Responsible for the day-to-day running of the FKNK offices, secretarial services, including handling of daily communications; Adequately qualified to keep proper books of accounts of the FKNK, including related VAT, Tax and other Returns and liaison with auditor; Fluent in Maltese and English and Report Writing; Knowledgeable in local and international hunting and trapping practices including related legislation; Proverbial with EU Institutions; Able to coordinate and organise meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc., at all levels as necessary; Capable in media exchanges, with particular reference to press releases and conferences and other related correspondence; IT literate.
Remuneration: The successful candidate will have a remunerative managerial package commensurate with his/her qualifications and experience.
