Hi, I dont have much experience with binoculars, but I bought a pair of Vipers 10x42 and I'm very impressed to see how far optics have come in 30 years. My 10x50 Minoltas aren't even close optically and are huge by comparison. Very happy, but at 62, I need a tripod at longer distance. I just ordered the Vortex High Country 2 tripod and the Pro adapter.
