Are you sure that this is Cryptic, it looks more like a female Bundok Flycatcher to me. The large eyering, pale lores and it's flight feathers appear rufous contrasting with a greyer mantle, which all seem to be favour Bundok.

You might be right but male and female Bundok attached look very different (I thought it was Cryptic - ID from looking at a very similar shot on e-bird) which I hoped I caught from the same session as one of the Bundok's where a Cryptic was present but it could be an immature female Bundok's as it isn't shown in any of my field guides and I didn't show it to Djop or Bento confirm ID.
Anyway unless one of the Philippine birders confirms otherwise happy to move ahead with Bundok Flycatcher - adults below.
