That was played as #9115 shortly after it was split from Plumed Egret. It was also played as #516, until the split meant that particular bird wasn't Intermediate any more.

I have seen flamingos in the wild in South Florida.

American Flamingo is on the list already as number 5787. Another one where it's a bit surprising how far we got into the list before someone named it - any flamingo seen in the wild is a very memorable event.
