Nectariniidae (3 Viewers)

What is the original source of the choice of coccinigastrus as the type species?

Certhia coccinigastra Latham 1801 is the species-group name which is used as the valid name of the taxonomic species that includes Certhia splendida Shaw 1812, which was accepted as the type of Cinnyris Cuvier "1817" [= 1816] (by subsequent designation of Gray 1855) in the Peters' check-list.

(The nominal species Certhia coccinigastra Latham 1801 itself was not originally included in Cinnyris, hence is not eligible to become the type of the nominal genus.)

Thanks for the precision
