Stay around long enough and you can experience passive aggressive bullying to go with the entrenched mindset about is or is not considered "acceptable" gear. 10XIt's interesting how this bino (or rather future bino) is highly criticised and subject to every imaginable scrutiny by so many, without actually watching through it
These are APO binoculars:...and "APO" is the summit of nonsense...

Works perfectly with glasses for me. And I need a long eye relief.Very interesting! I was earlier interested in Kowa 6x32 10° TFOV but hesitated when I understood it will not be good enough for me with eyeglasses.
And because the FOV is so large, the SRBC will not be very light. Large prisms and a complex eyepiece mean that they will be pretty beefy. Expect a weight of ~800 gr. at least: SRBC 32mm Modelle. The 42mm models weigh ~880 gr.The 6x32 might be the answer to my lightweight handheld close-range and scanning glass which was currently going in a 7x42 direction (hampered by sticky focusers on all the Ultravids I have looked at). It should be even lighter and will have even more DOF, though I am not sure if the drop in mag might be too much without ever having looked through a 6x. The FOV sounds like it will be huge!

I haven't. Holger had a chance to look through a prototype.Interesting. It seems from that thread that you have already looked through them and been impressed but noticed some issues with the eyepieces?
Is it? NL 32s are 640g...Heavy for a 32mm for sure but I guess that is what you pay for such a big FOV.
Is it? NL 32s are 640g...
In my hand they are neither light or heavyDo you see that as light or heavy?
I think, 750-800gr. will be nice for 12grad. x32 flat field bino.I guess 800g is not too bad
Is it? NL 32s are 640g...
Neither really, the NL is just about right. I was questioning the second half of your sentence ("what you pay"). The larger FOV would not justify a weight of 800g in a 32mm model. One could hope for less.Do you see that as light or heavy?
