My Name is Jonathan, and I am 30. I live in North Texas, in a suburb of Dallas called Coppell. I love to travel and do so for both business and pleasure. My hobbies are fly fishing, mineral collecting, hunting and now birding.

A couple times a year I go on a trip outside of the USA, Usually to: Costa Rica, Urguay, Argentina, Chile or perhaps Europe.

For the last few years I have made a trip to Lake Iliamna Alaska for salmon fishing and while there I have had the opportunity to see a variety of waterfowl and bald eagles.

My house backs up to a wilderness area and wooded flood plain of the Trinity River. Right now behind my house are teal, blue herons, white egrets, lesser and greater yellow legs, killdeer, mallards, canadian geese, cardinals, warblers, red tail hawks, american kestrels, mud hens, double crested comerants, grackles, red wing black birds, eastern meadowlarks, northern shovlers and a variety of others I am sure. Those are the ones I have checked off my life list in the last week (though I have seen them around here for most of my life).

My favorite bird is the belted Kingfisher.
