Nikon CP5700 & ED82-A scope (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I would like to know if anyone has successfully attached a Nikon Coolpix 5700 to a Nikon fieldscope ED82-A? Nikon themselves do not make a specific adapter to allow this and I was wondering if there are any third party adapters out there, so that I can attach my camera to my scope.

Hi,

You are unlikely to have much success with this combination due to the size of lens on the 5700 compared to the eyepiece lens, but to check, try hand holding it at full zoom and see if there is vignetting. It it works OK, a universal digiscoping adaptor as sold by www.pulsar-optical.co.uk will hold the camera steady against the eyepiece.
