Nikon EDG Sports Line - Dead Or Alive ? When discontinued ? (5 Viewers)

For anyone with EDGs or who has read about flimsy fall out objective covers, Nikon must have addressed this problem as mine stay in once you have
Same with my 7x42, the objective covers stay in once you have the knack, it's even a little bit difficult to take them away after, and that is the reason I've replaced them, not because they don't stay put.
The covers for the oculars are great though, you put them in easily and take them out easily.
And yes, it's a wonderful bino, I would call it perfect if it had the 3D effect of a Porro, but having a flat field and at the same time the 3D effect of a Porro apparently it is not possible it seems.
