Non-Europeans what European bird would you like to see? (4 Viewers)

I twitched a Hoopoe in Hong Kong, then by some good fortune I found another one on my own.

Hoopoes are a dime a dozen in the Middle East.

Now that I think about it, I'd be curious to look at more subspecies of Yellow Wagtail.

I once twitched a vagrant thunbergi in Oxford.

But that still leaves feldegg, iberiae, cinereocapilla - and who knows? They might all become separate species.

I would not count Demoiselle Crane as a European bird - Asian. I need it for my WP list, and the only likely spots are on passage in Turkey, Cyprus, Egypt and further east.
We had breeding Demoiselle Crane in Turkey back in 2015. This was after a bit of an influx. Don't ask me exactly where (I can't remember!), but it was North of Mount Ararat.

Saw breeding Demoiselle Crane in Ukraine in um, maybe 2013? Bit trickier now (was on the Crimean peninsula). Hoping they are still present and doing ok.

Before I made my first trips to Europe, my top desire was Wallcreeper, followed by European Bee-eater, Black Woodpecker, and European Robin. I'm not sure what's next on my most-wanted list, now that I've seen those along with some of the other basics. I would have to leaf through a field guide perhaps, but Dartford Warbler and Capercaillie come to mind.

Have done a couple of trips to Spain and Turkey and some layovers in England so have a few of the otherwise most wanted (Great Bustard, Lammergeier, European Bee-eater) but of what’s left my vote is for: Eurasian Dotterel, Corn Crake, Eleonora’s Falcon, Black Woodpecker, Wallcreeper, Hawfinch
One word, Corncrake.

Lammergeier, European Bee-Eater, Wallcreeper, Eleonora’s Falcon, Western Capercallie, Common Crane, Eurasian Hoopoe
