More specifically Dallas. I know the duck is a Scaup, but do not know for sure if he is greater or lesser. His head seems a little rounder, so I am guessing greater?

The bird in the last picture looks the most like a White-eyed Vireo to me? But my map shows they are here in summer.

Here's my try (I am not an expert):

1. Greater Scaup
2. Lesser Scaup (note the "bump" on the head)
3. Savannah Sparrow? (not sure)
4. Northern Harrier
5&6. <pass>
7-9: Golden-crowned Kinglet

Well, I assumed 1 & 2 were different birds; but if they were of the same one, then I would say Lesser (1 is a bit blurry to tell).

1,2. Greater Scaup, rounded head with the white flanks
3. Savannah Sparrow ?
4. Northern Harrier
5. ?

7, 8, 9. Golden-crowned Kinglet

I believe no.5 and 6 relate to Blue-headed Vireo.

Cheers

Thanks

Thats what I have been leaning towards.

I realized the white around the eye instead of yellow ruled out White-eyed Vireo. I had thought maybe Bells too.

Is it possible it is a mix between two Vireos?

#1 + 2 are both Lesser. Although #1 is blurry you can just make out the tiny crest / peak, the coarse vermiculations on the back and the way they close up towards the rear making a rather extensive dark rear end that blends in with the pale back more than Greater. #2 also shows the tiny black nail on the bill, more extensive on Greater.

In the group shot, the two on the ends are clearly lesser, but the middle one looks larger, bigger headed, bigger billed, and rounder headed.

I agree with a rather bright blue-headed vireo.
