Prostaff P7 8x30 for gift (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I'm looking for b-d gift for friend in $120-150 price range. Over the weekend in friends vacation house he played with my Leica Ultravid HD+ 8x32, liked it, started asking me about small binoculars brands, models, etc. He doesn't want to spend lot of money on it and wants something compact, reliable, "for beginners ". I recommend him to look at Vortex Diamondback HD, but then Nikon Prostaff P7 8x30 got my own attention.
Anyone use Prostaff P7 8x30? Can you recommend it?
