Question: Red Tailed Hawk (1 Viewer)

Observing a Red Tailed Hawk, I noticed that when it made a treetop landing, it didn't fold up it's wings, but just made the landing and left it's wings spread.

I was thinking I disturbed it, and it planned on flying to the next treetop in the next few seconds, but was not exactly sure.

Is this unusual behavior? (I haven't pulled the image of my camera yet)
