Rangemaser 7x35 with THUMB focus? (1 Viewer)

Not Sure.

I've come across a Rangemaster that has an odd looking thumb slider for focusing instead of a center wheel?

Anybody know more about this model? Worth getting? Or pass?

thanks

A later Tamron rangemaster- shame on Bushnell giving such a focus device to a fine bino I have a Bushnell Custom that has such a focus and while it works fine while viewing something horizontal, going vertical to look at the night sky and I have to hold the focus adjust slider otherwise the mechanisms creeps out of focus. perhaps refreshing the grease might help but I have bigger fish to fry. Like lens creep on an old camera telephoto lens? That would be really annoying on a binocular. On a camera lens that had creep, I would put a wide rubber band over the edge of the moving section, and it would stop the creep.
