I saw this at Cemlyn Bay Anglesey on Sunday.... Sanderling was my first thought can anyone confirm.

I can't recall ever seeing just one Sanderling, but comparing your photo to others I think that's what this bird is. Looks very similar to photos of juvenile birds I found elsewhere online.
