Hi All

Sedges and grasses, I just have no idea.

Came across what I think is a sedge on an upland sort of moor near the Teifi Pools.

Could someone please ID for me?

Ditto. Though this looks reasonably like a Carex.
Helps to have the date and more photos, eg the leaves and whole plant. Same for your cottongrass.
