is this a Short-toed lark? Pics from Krk island, near Obzova.

I would say yes, based on pp, head pattern and an apparent lack of streaking to the breast.

to me it looks like a juv skylark, mainly on structure

Yes I got it the wrong way round for pp being cloaked on GSL v Skylark...slapped wrists...must do better, will check the guide next time.

Looking at the White tips to the crown it’s almost certainly a juvenile.

This bird looks very similar to a bird I saw in Romania last month. see attached I have been reliably advised that bird was a juvenile short toed lark
