Hi
I am an old guy living north of Copenhagen.
I am looking for information about 2 of my binoculars: Tamron 10x24 and Royal 8x40 Superferfex BAK4
Can anyone help?
Thomas

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. I think you will find us a friendly and helpful group. I’ve moved your question to the area of the binocular forum where you will get some better help.

Hi Thomas and welcome.

Royal was a well respected Japanese name.
My friend had an excellent Royal 60mm refractor.

I am not sure if they made binoculars or put their name on a good independent maker's binocular.

Tamron is again a very well respected name in optics.
Lenses, adapters, and binoculars.
They made binoculars for other companies.

I don't know either of your binoculars, but they should be good if they are clean and well aligned.

I visited Copenhagen in the 1960s.

Regards,
B.

Dear B
Thank you very much for your answer! I often use a binocular when I am on a fishing-trip to a lake.
Regards
Thomas
