My 8x30 SLC had dust incursion (I bought them in 1989). Called sona, got an rma, sent them in for repair in Feb 2025, received them back about a 6 weeks later. There were 3 full
Pages of parts replaced, including all new glass, rings, armour, everything! So after 33 years of use in the desert I got back mkiii’s with of course the latest coatings for my old mkii’s. Couldn’t be happier.
