Hi,
I wonder whether anyone can recommend any reliable travel companies that do birding trips from the Cochin area?
My mother, who is 76, is going there in December to visit a school she supports, and she would like to spend about 8 days on a trip, with walking, birding and boating.
She is extremely fit - 10 miles walking is not a problem, but struggled a couple of years ago with the infested straw mattresses and sand pillows that we had to sleep on in some birding camps in the Gambia.
She would just like to be assured a reasonable level of accommodation, decent food, and reputable guides, but doesn't want a cocooned 5* resort type holiday.
