The Eponym Dictionary of Birds claims:
Common Blackbird Turdus ruedigeri Kleinschmidt, 1919 NCR [JS Turdus merula merula]
W. Rüdiger (1875-1957 ) was a German foresterand oologist.

The Key to Scientific Names
W. Rüdiger (1875-1957) German forester, oologist (syn. Turdus merula).

Here he is called Wilhelm Rüdiger refering to Ornithologische Beobachtungen in dem Gouvernements Kowo und Kurland.

If he was born 1875 and died 1957 is unknown to me. He was editor of Zeitschrift fur Oologie und Ornithologie after the death of Hermann Hocke (1910) here. I think he lived in Eisenhammer near Steinbusch.

In 1939 here he lived Landsberg a. D. Warthe Heydekrugerstr. 14. His profession was Preussischer Revierförster (in fact a forester).

Do not think it is him as his profession seems weaver (Weber). The other is no obituary but an announcement of 80th birthday living in Kirchgellersen near Lüneburg.

Here p. 20 a picture of him. And p. 19 we can read born 27. May 1875 in Melzow (Kr. Angermünde) and death 2. August 1957 in Kirchgellersen.
