Received the scope back from Nikon.
I will continue to use it as the viewing is still fine.
Another option if not satisfied and can’t determine if it’s your specific optic, purchase another one and compare the two. If both are the same then it’s not the optic , it’s the individual. The Nikon 82 model may not meet your expectations like the 55 does. At that point you could keep one or sell both and continue the Journey to find the optic that satisfies. If it turns out that your first one is inferior , keep the second one and sell the less desirable one to someone who would be aesthetic to own one, and that is less critical (ocd , like many of us here😜) that would enjoy it for what it is.
