Please could someone tell me whether there is a comparison of specifications of the various versions of 10x42 SLC's. I know there are several, but I can't find a list comparing them. Thanks.

By "various" and "several" versions, did you mean to include the original SLC/SLCneu models from about 1992 to 2009 as well?

Hi again Megaloblatta,

To expand on tenex’s post:

a) The original x42 SLC’s (7x42 and 10x42) were manufactured from mid 1992 to mid 2010
For more info about them, see post #3 at: Optical differences between 42s SLC 'neu' and final production

b) The all new x42 SLC’s (8x42 and 10x42) were manufactured from early 2010
And they're the ones that the link in my previous post is about.
Although they share the SLC name, they have all new optics and mechanicals, in a new housing.
