Want to digiscoope with a Canon MK II (1 Viewer)

Hi, all. Hope I'm in the right category here. I really can't affor $7,000 for a 600 mm lens, but I've just heard about the wonders of close up photography
via digiscoping.

I would appreciate any information or links one could offer on setting up my Canon 1D Mk II with a high quality digiscope. I live in New Jersey and if anyone knows of a good store in state to go to, that would be nice.

Thanks for your help.

This has to be one of the dumbest questions on BF, why would you want to throw away the capabilities of this body by attaching it to a manual focus telescope.

There are plenty of high quality autofocus lenses that produce very good results available at about the same cost as a scope, Tamron 200-500mm, Sigma also have 170-500mm lens, then you can add a 1.4X converter, just look at the results in the gallery that have been taken with these lenses.
