Western or Semi-palmated Sandpiper, Texas (1 Viewer)

I always struggle deciding between Western and Semi-palmated Sandpipers. Seen at Aransas late February. Advice appreciated.

For me the bill looks pretty small. I considered Least, but the legs are the wrong color (as far as I can tell).

Don’t think so. Bill’s perfect for Semipalmated.

Thanks y'all. I'm out of practice; I thought the bill was ok for Western. But, eBird only has a handful or two of Semipalmated reports from Texas for any February.
