My motivation for birding? If birds were created to embellish the world, they perform their task very well. It would be foolish not to look at them.

Welcome, and I couldn't agree more. Plus the thrill of discovering new birds. And also the joy of getting an image of them, especially if they're ones that are difficult to capture on camera. Birding, whether just watching them, or photographing them, is a very rewarding and fun thing to do!
