Zeiss Conquest 10 x 32 or 10 x 42? (1 Viewer)

Yup—sorry I introduced some confusion into the mix. I completely forgot about the range of bins carrying the HG label over the years. I was indeed referring to the current production Monarch HG 10x42.

I appreciate the input and advice. I will now add the current Nikon Monarch hg 10x42 to my list for consideration. If my information is correct, the Nikon 10x42 is only 50gm more than the Zeiss Conquest 10x32.
 
That's a good idea, actually. The Monarch HG is crazy light for a 42mm binocular.

I have a 10x32 EDG and weighed it at 650g naked, and an 8x42 Monarch HG which I weighed at 665g naked.

And the Monarch HG 10x42 will bring in 40% more light than the Zeiss Conquest HD 10x32.
