Distribution
South-east Asia: found in Indochina, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Malay Peninsula, Brunei, Borneo, Indonesia, Greater Sundas, Sumatra and Java
Taxonomy
There are 2 subspecies:
- A. e. peninsulae:
- Southern Myanmar, Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo
- A. e. euryzona:
Habitat
Rocky streams and rivers in secondary equatorial rainforests and mangroves.
Behaviour
The diet includes crustaceans, insects and small reptiles.
