Anti-magnet (Anas platyrhynchos, Cygnus cygnus, Mergus merganser, Bucephala clangula)

Of course, magnets work both ways - pull or push, depending on how they're aligned. If bread is the positive pole to the mallards' negative magnets, then lifting up a camera is the negative. Maybe they think it looks like a gun ...? And yes, that's me.
