Grey in the mud = lack of contrast

Grey in the mud = lack of contrast (Tringa nebularia)

Which means my camera, anyway, struggles to focus properly.

There were a few Common Greenshank out there. Thinking back, I wouldn't be surprised if I saw more of them in Australia than I've seen here!
