ZEISS DTI thermal imaging cameras. For more discoveries at night, and during the day.
One of a pair
I had to walk down to favoured spot number 2 to find the Dippers this day and there were two of them sitting in the middle of the river.

So... the light wasn't too awful, but they're quite distant for a small camera. I couldn't get both in the same shot though.

I could have cropped this some more, but I rather like the setting.

Looks great, and quite vulnerable, in that setting, Delia; you was right not to crop, IMO

A little beauty, love the setting, with the rocks & flowing water, feel your actually there, a lovely capture Delia

I also like the picture uncropped D. You can see the Dipper with plenty of detail and you get to see the marvelous habitat it calls home. Exceptional D!!!!!!

Great image of lovely bird in a super setting, come on Delia, you could have took your shoes off and had a paddle, to get closer lol.

Love it,Delia!! Right decision not to crop here, this is much more interesting, the Dipper is still on the front row and gets all the attention no matter how small it is. You've done great here.

What a wonderful composition Delia. A lovely setting for this superb capture. A good decision not to crop. Thanks for sharing.

Looks fine as it is Delia, super Dipper habitat capture, well done lass.
